Course directors

Ian West has worked in international marketing and branding for over 30 years and has helped major brands in all sectors including tourism, food and drink, gardening, construction plant, financial services, healthcare, fashion, education, engineering, IT and marine.

With degrees in design, marketing and psychology he has delivered training in many aspects of marketing as well as export training on behalf of UKTI for whom he also works as an external advisor. Ian runs his own successful consultancy as well as writing and lecturing on international, digital and sustainable marketing issues. 

Steve Exon has been actively involved in export for over 30 years, having held a number of senior positions. He has travelled extensively and has worked in some 59 countries. Steve has a wealth of consultancy experience, predominantly helping SMEs develop their export strategies, and has won a number of International Trade Development Awards with businesses he has mentored.
